My pride was written by Steph in February 1997. We felt that My pride sounded like and old Offspring song, even if we were never huge fans of this band. So that's why the sarcastic ending, laughing at our own selves.
lyrics
You can not take my pride away
I fight you every single day
It's not my battle don't you know?
The poor do suffer, but he don't show
You try to make me think,
I thought of make you crying
You make me feel like the only one
And i would walk those miles away...
I hope you realize it
I wish you stopped your stupid way
You can not take away my time
Why can't you see what's going on!
Someone may starve but I'm still gone
You fight to fight the fight
You fight the human rights
But I'm not the only one
