Mister Gun was written by Steph in January 1996. There are two different recordings for this song, this one and the original version on Two ban' an' a split. The reason why we decided to re-record the song was because we feel we didn't got it right the first time. The split version was recorded in March 1996, only two months after we wrote the song. The version on HSH is faster than the original version.
lyrics
Mister Gun,
I don't know where you've gone
I'd fill you with lead
To shoot myself in the head
I'd wish you back soon
My life ain't really worth doin'
Those silly things
That makes you want to cling
And I really ask myself;
What I'll do without you?
I guess I'll go buy myself some rope
Dear Mister Gun
I don't know where you've gone
I need you right now,
And please donít ask me why
I'd wish you back soon
Cause my life ain't really worth doing
You're my only friend
And you'll take me to the end
