Drunk once again was written by Steph and Jeff in June 1996. Our friend Dominique is playing trombone on the track. She used to play in the original version of Carpet Sweeper, a punk ska band from our hometown.
lyrics
I've been drunk before
But I never thought, it was this bad
With every sip I take
I see you turn and walk away
It's like the day we met
I was drunk and you helped me stand
I wished you weren't there
To see me so deprived
And she said to me, and she said to me
Get the fuck away, you're drunk!
Good friends are correctly cleaning me up
And others just started to laugh at me
I'm so fuckin' drunk, it'll never be the same
I couldn't remember my own name
But when she looks at me
I feel like dropping everything
Next morning, will never be the same
Cause you know what, she's just leaving...
